For CUPE 5678 Members to receive these prices they must wear CUPE Purple or show their CUPE Membership card.

There will be a reserved seating section for our group.

Group photo on the track at the winners’ circle during Intermission.

There will be speedway & CUPE door prize draw for members at intermission.

A CUPE cash admission table and food coupon will be set up at the ticket booth for members to get this pricing and to register for door prizes. A waver sheet must be signed by all before they are permitted to enter the pits and will be available at our table.

An RSVP Microsoft Forms will be set up on the CUPE site. PLEASE take the time to fill out how many people in your group will attend so we make sure we have enough seating for us.

Once you register, you will receive an email that you have registered for the meeting.

Best Practices for signing into your CUPE office account for emails and meetings:

  1. Open an internet browser of your choice.

For Google Chrome:  Go to the 3 dots under the X in the top right corner and choose “New incognito window”

For Edge:  Go to the 3 dots under the X in the top right corner and choose “New InPrivate browser”

For Safari:  On the left choose “Private”

  1. Then in the search bar, type www.office.com
  2. Choose “Sign In” and enter your cupe email and your password, (click No to the question stay signed in).

 

For a registered event:

  • Go to the outlook email button (usually found on the left)
  • find the email you received from the day you registered called, “You’re registered for Membership/Special Membership Meeting” and click on the link to join.

You must be in attendance no later than 10:05 am to be included in the Progressive Member Engagement Draw (currently @ $1,300.00) and Members in Attendance Draw. ($100.00)

You need to register for the meeting  if you are attending online.

If you are attending in person, please allow yourself time for signing in and Member in Good Standing verification.

The CUPE National Constitution has laid out the requirements of being a member in good standing to fully participate in union activities.

Only members in good standing can attend and vote at union meetings.

Section 10:

According to article B.4.1 of the National Constitution an initiation and readmission fee of $1.00, must be paid by the applicant for membership. A member who fails to pay dues and assessments for three months is automatically suspended from membership. The suspension will be reported to the Executive Board by the Secretary-Treasurer. The Executive Board will report all suspensions to the next membership meeting. The member may return to membership in good standing by paying a re-admission fee and any other penalty set by the Local Union. The re-admission fee cannot be less than the initiation fee of the Local Union. A member who has been unemployed or unable to work because of sickness shall pay the re-admission fee but may not be required to pay arrears.

If you have not submitted your Member in Good Standing form, please do so asap.

If you want to send payment via etransfer please use email info@cupe5678.ca Question CUPE and answer 5678. You can send via mail or courier but you won’t be updated as a member in good standing until payment is received.

You can check the list to see if you have provided your member in good standing form.

You must be signed in as CUPE to open the Teams document.
