Dear Members,

I am writing to provide an update on the CUPE 5678 by-election process.

Please be advised that Julia Gauthier has been acclaimed to the position of Recording Secretary. Tammy Cooper officially withdrew her candidacy for the Recording Secretary position on March 31, 2026.

A by-election will still proceed for the position of Health and Safety Representative. Voting will take place from April 13 to April 15, 2026. The campaigning period will commence on April 2, 2026.

Further information regarding the next steps in the by-election process, including voting procedures and details, will be shared with members shortly.
