By-election Results – 2nd position WSIB/Injured Worker/Return to Work Representative

OSBCU Inside the Fight all member webinar on Thursday, April 16th. 

Dear CUPE Local 5678 members:

Please take a minute this week to sign up for the OSBCU Inside the Fight all member webinar on Thursday, April 16th.
You can register to attend the webinar at 11am-12noon EST or 6-7pm EST.

The webinar will focus on the following topics:

  • Central bargaining proposals on wage improvements including:

* Proposal to pay all employees that perform the same job the same rate of pay by eliminating steps in wage grids.

* Proposal to pay casual employees the same rate of pay as permanent

  • The plan for the April 29th Province wide Day of Action for all education unions
  • Saturday, June 6th launch of community outreach to build solidarity with parents, caregivers and community members

General Membership Meeting April 18, 2026

Any additions to the agenda must reach the CUPE Office no later than Friday, April 3rd, 2026.

Additions can be sent via email to info@cupe5678.ca and you will receive email confirmation back within 24 hours of a regularly scheduled work day that your addition was received.

You must be in attendance no later than 10:05 am to be included in the Swag draw and be present (virtual or in person) for the draw.
