Communities, Not Cuts
If you were in attendance at the strike vote meeting on Saturday you would have heard CUPE Ontario President, Fred Hahn speak about the Communities, Not Cuts campaign. This campaign has been initiated to fight against the cuts to public services. These cuts will affect all people in Ontario. Our public services are in jeopardy. Please take the time to read the information below and support this ongoing campaign. Hopefully you had the opportunity to support this campaign by signing the petition that was circulated during the meeting. All Ontarians need to come together to protect the public services we deserve in municipal, health care, education, social services and post-secondary education sectors in this province. I have attached a copy of the petition and the instructions associated with completing it. Please take an active role in supporting this province-wide campaign by having friends, family and co-workers sign the petition and submit it by October 18, 2019 to CUPE Ontario (ATTN: Kerry Davenport) 80 Commerce Valley Dr. E, Markham, ON L3T 0B2.
President, CUPE 5678
